Job description

Hiring immediately for this Warehouse Forklift Driver job with a local client. Weekly pay starting at $14.50 per hour, openings on multiple shifts. Apply now and have the opportunity to schedule an immediate interview! 

• 2-5 years’ experience driving a forklift or powered industrial truck preferred 

• High school diploma/GED equivalent 

• Experience with overhead cranes preferred 

• Ensure long prong, forklift and reach trucks daily inspections are performed; including charging and changing the batteries 

• Load and unload containers 

• Perform daily unloading and staging of all inbound materials 

• Supply parts and other material proactively to the production and shipping areas as needed in a safe manner 

• Perform daily and other required checks on powered fork trucks, etc. and documents results and follows through with maintenance reporting 

• Comply with all company, OSHA and other appropriate regulations 

• Concerned primarily with the safe operations of the powered industrial truck and ensures that pedestrians have the right of way 

• Keep track and maintain records on incoming and outgoing parts, coils, etc. as assigned by supervisor. Input information into the computer when required 

• Direct movement of materials to appropriate areas: shipping platform, receiving, storage, etc. 

• Perform other duties and assignments as deemed necessary or appropriate 

Pay Details: $14.50 per hour
