Job description
“Best of Monterey County” Animal Hospital Seeks Experienced Veterinary Associate DVM
Generous Compensation & Relocation Assistance
Are you looking for an outstanding opportunity for a life-changing career move? Are you tired of the corporate environment in Veterinary Medicine?
Come join our supportive, fun, super positive team at this private family-owned practice. We are committed to both best-in-class excellence of medical care for our patients and an amazing work culture for our team.
About Our Hospital:
Pacific Grove Animal Hospital is a growing well-established, small animal practice on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. We have been voted “Best Veterinarian of Monterey County” two years in a row in the Weekly magazine. We provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for cats, dogs and exotics. All of our equipment is brand new as of 2021, including laser, ultrasound, digital radiology (dental and full body), digital cytology, dental machine, oxygen concentrator, surgical equipment, video otoscope, in house Idexx laboratory machines, computer systems with cloud-based software, and much more.
Our Team And Work Culture:
We are open M-F from 8:00am to 5:30pm—no weekend or on-call shifts so you can spend time with your family and enjoy the fabulous lifestyle we have here.
Our low turnover rate is a testament to our family-like working environment, competent management, and highly skilled leadership from our Doctor.
We have a fun, outgoing, hardworking team. Dr. Brynie Kaplan Dau and our staff enable us to provide the highest standard of care that our Hospital has become known for. We are extremely proud of our staff retention and attribute it to our supportive and communicative team and our “zero tolerance” policy for abusive clients. We have a very affluent and friendly clientele, so thankfully there is very little need to use this policy.
What We Offer:
About You:
We are looking for a team player to add to our staff. Please be a good communicator, be thorough and detail-oriented. Reliability and punctuality are a MUST! We are offering mentorship to a new graduate, or collaboration with an experienced associate. We are flexible for the right candidate!
This is a part-time or full-time position, again depending on the right candidate. Organization and multi-tasking are skills you will need. Good communication skills are also necessary to fit into this position, with both staff members and clients. We focus on preventative care as well as problems, and client education is a big part of what we do.
If you’re interested in finding out more about our hospital please send a letter and resume to our manager Kathy at:
