Job description
We are seeking an Entry Level Commercial Door Installer to join our team. As a leading provider of industrial door installation and maintenance services, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch customer service and technical expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining commercial doors, loading dock equipment, and material handling systems. You will be the face of our company, representing us at job sites throughout the Southwest Region. While some travel is required, we strive to keep our technicians close to home. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Dispatch and serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, service, testing, troubleshooting, and installation on a variety of warehouse and loading dock equipment.
- Work independently or in teams, often in a field environment.
- Complete detailed service reports at the end of each assignment.
- Maintain company truck, phone, and safety gear.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience with maintenance and/or repair of commercial doors, loading docks, dock levelers, and other related warehouse and industrial equipment is preferred.
- Experience in welding or steel fabrication is beneficial.
- Experience with electrical work is advantageous.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be a strong communicator.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must have a valid A, B or C Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass a standard Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
