SDL is looking to hire a custodian to join our Logistics Division. The hours for the position are M-F 4:30pm to 12:30am. The successful candidate will, in accordance with established procedures, help clean SDL operated facilities. Due to the nature of some of the areas, there may be restrictions on when cellular or wireless devices are allowed to be carried.

Responsibilities: - Cleans, vacuums, and empties trash in common areas, hallways, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, and receptionist areas
- Scrub and sanitize restroom facilities
- Restock restrooms and break areas with supplies
- Scrub, burnish, buff and wax floors as needed
- Clean carpets as needed
- Cover other areas as needed for team members
Minimum Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and spend substantial time walking, standing, pulling, reaching, stooping, squatting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and pushing/pulling objects such as desks, tables, chairs, and scrubbing machines
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use carpet extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers or other automated cleaning tools
- Must be self-motivated, ability to pay close attention to cleaning details
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
Preferred Requirements - Knowledge of commercial cleaning processes
- Experience with hard floor care and carpet cleaning
