Job Title: Technical Writer II
Experience Level : Bachelors of Communications or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years' experience in documentation/training development. Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within the Global Environment.
Nice to Have Skills: Experience with: quality management systems; the healthcare industry, and medical system product knowledge.
Schedule/Hours : 1st Shift 100% remote
Essential Responsibilities:
Junior Technical Writer with 2 years exp.
Junior Multi-Vendor Technical Writer and Instructional Designer
Responsible for the development of requirements in service-related programs
essential functions include Develops training and staff development programs for Healthcare Multi-Vendor team by performing the following functions:
Develops multi-vendor EPSTs (service manuals) and Training
Works with the Capability Program Manager to determine project plans
Works with SMEs to produce content for documentation and/or training
Re-writes existing content for use by the intended audience
Develops documents in Adobe FrameMaker and implements links
Converts documents to Adobe PDF format
Uses photos in the documents, and enhances and annotates the photos
Creates flow charts, simple line art graphics, and screen captures for use in the documentation
Quality Specific Goals: Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors of Communications or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years' experience in documentation/training development.
Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within the Global Environment. Multitasking abilities to drive critical issues simultaneously.
Resourcefulness, commitment, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Software skills to include Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with: quality management systems; the healthcare industry, and medical system product knowledge.
