Job Title: Network Administrator
Location: Englewood, CO
Salary: $100k-$140k
Requirements: 3+ experience with network administration, system admin or advanced desktop support. Certification in at least one of: Network +, Security +, Microsoft, CCNA equivalent

Certifications in one or more of the following is preferred: Cisco CCNA or MCSA, Hirshmann Industrial Ethernet Specialist or Hirschmann Industrial Network Professional

We are one of the largest water resource recovery facilities in Colorado. We treat nearly 20 million gallons of wastewater each day. Our Engineering Division plans, designs, and constructs treatment infrastructure, manages all assets, optimizes processes, and maintains all electrical instrumentation and controls

What You Will Be Doing

- Oversees the day-to-day operation of industrial process control networks, the business network, SAN and servers including hardware/software support, training and special projects.
- Maintains and assists in planning, designing and implementing upgrades and modifications to the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems and wireless networks.
- Repair, maintain and troubleshoot all equipment including but not limited to network, server, and SAN hardware. Coordinates repair and re-configuration with vendors and other IT staff. - Monitors local and wide area network traffic and performance using a variety of hardware and software to tune the network to maximize performance.
- Maintains all hardware, software, line drops within City buildings and leased lines that comprise the Citys voice and data networks.
- Maintains current firewall hardware and configuration, documents change to meet industry best practices
- Works closely with IT staff to maintain a consistent cyber security standard, with availability, data collection, and uptime as major priorities.
- Maintains and administers the vSphere virtual environment for the Process Control and Enterprise networks. Coordinates the creation of new virtual machines with OT & IT staff.
- Maintains and administers the industrial process network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, traditional business networks, as well as industrial control systems and will understand the different approaches required when managing industrial networks and business networks.

What You Need for this Position

- Advanced knowledge of core networking concepts, cyber security, differences between industrial process and traditional business network environments and architecture

Intermediate Knowledge of:
- Proficient with using CLI (Command Line interface)
- TCP/IP protocols, IPV4, DHCP, NAT, etc. Some IPV6 preferred
- Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching technologies including QOS, LLDP, Spanning Tree, Shortest Path Bridging (SPB), etc.
- Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Ethernet I/P Industrial networking hardware/software
- Routing Protocols including EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Internet protocols such as FTP, SSH, SFTP, SMTP, etc.
- Industrial network protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, etc.
- Microsoft Active Directory, IIS, O365, SQL
- VOIP and analog systems, notably Cisco Call Manager and Unity Connection.
