Direct Report

Wheels Program Manager

Principle Responsibilities

● Supervise and assist training staff in execution of all wheel programs

● Maintain order amongst staff, take proper documented disciplinary action when necessary

● Direct the set up and takedown of all wheels facilities and equipment

● Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and request more as needed in a timely manner

● Oversee the regular maintenance of wheels program facilities

● Ensure that all equipment is used properly, inventoried, and returned in good repair

● Provide periodic written performance evaluations / coaching for direct reports

● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook

Qualifications & Training

● 21 years of age or older

● Preferred: Experience teaching BMX, skateboarding, and/or mountain biking

● Preferred: knowledge of maintaining the equipment properly

● Preferred: experience with bike trail/track maintenance and/or skatepark maintenance

● Required: 2+ yr. leading teams; Preferred: 2+ yr. Summit employment

● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Performance Results

● Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences with customers

● Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants

● Contribute at least one improvement to the Wheels program

● Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant

Physical Req uirements

● Up to 9 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 65 lbs.
