Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Registrar, the Assistant Registrar serves as the primary coordinator of all operational and administrative activities for the Undergraduate Degree Services area. The incumbent provides leadership and direct supervision for a team of six professional staff members who are responsible for the evaluation and awarding of undergraduate degrees.
- Responsible for planning, directing, and implementing procedures for the daily operating functions of the unit including degree evaluation, processing substitution/waivers, and awarding baccalaureate degrees for three-degree cycles.
- Responsible for working closely and collaboratively with multiple campus departments involved in graduation processes.

Qualifications - Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a job-related field.
- Equivalent to two years of progressively responsible professional/administrative experience.
- Experience in Admissions, Records, and/or a Graduation unit of a four-year University and PeopleSoft student records system, highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Leadership - Knowledge of employee relations principles and practices and outstanding skills in conflict resolution, team-building, leadership, and motivation preferred.
- Lead diverse teams to support the operational mission and vision of employers by fostering an ethical, inclusive and collegial work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support ongoing improvement through courageous, resilient, and catalytic leadership.
- Lead varying initiatives through a collaborative, service-oriented and communicative approach.
- Demonstrated commitment to employee development, recognition, and accountability to further operational goals.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule - Salary is commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. The University offers excellent fringe benefits.
- The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $76,000 - $80,000 per year, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
- The position is currently hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
