🔍 Job Summary: Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at Aetos Systems, Inc., you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge electrical communication systems at Goddard Space Center, including mission imagery systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on projects that push the boundaries of innovation while contributing to real-world solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to define system requirements.
• Provide analysis related to the design, development, and integration of cloud, hardware, software, and man-machine interfaces.
• Develop and maintain detailed system drawings in collaboration with drafting team members.
• Oversee the execution of test procedures and provide support for day-to-day and major operations.
• Provide solutions to a variety of engineering challenges with creativity and expertise.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and administration.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a NASA background investigation.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug testing.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally works outdoors at customer sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
