Phlebotomy Supervisor

RWJ Somerset is looking for a Phlebotomy Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trains, monitors, evaluates, and schedules Phlebotomy personnel. Assists with hiring new personnel. Trains non-laboratory personnel to draw blood. Supervises assigned departments as needed. Maintains adequate staffing, quality control, and equipment maintenance. Coordinates phlebotomy supplies and special orders. Ensures fiscally responsible operation, with emphasis to decrease costs and increase revenues. Improves turnaround time and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent, min of 5 years phlebotomy experience.
Skills:
Computer skills, i.e. LIS, word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, phlebotomy and waived testing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification:
Phlebotomist certification or equivalent preferred.
