  Work Arrangement:

Hybrid/Common Days+ : Work 2-3 days a week in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.

The Role at a Glance

As the Sr. Discovery Consultant, you will provide subject matter expertise to inform and influence direction on complex projects/initiatives that drive market differentiation & identify new engines of growth for the Annuity business; in addition, serves as a key source of emerging Annuity business models, collaborates with other key thought leaders to deepen portfolio of impactful ideas that create opportunities for differentiation in the marketplace.

 

What you'll be doing

• Collaborates with the annuity business leaders to build business cases to support the Annuity pipeline, by identifying and communicating relevant consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and analytical findings to key business stakeholders in a manner which influences them to adopt executable new business opportunities into appropriate lines of business.
• Provides organizational alignment and readiness for the new business development process on actionable business solutions that reflect and are derived from the most significant opportunities to grow Annuity earnings.
• Support the Annuity pipeline by building processes to engage Annuity business constituents on brainstorming the next horizon of Annuity concepts and facilitating hands-on workshops designed to generate and capture new, or enhanced, products and capabilities ideas.
• Directs and facilitates cross-functional teams to build and execute business plans that may not have clear responsible parties, developing relationships that bridge organizational boundaries and include individuals at multiple levels.
• Researches, Develops, Implements and Monitors initiatives for assigned area(s) of responsibility that support medium-term and long-term growth and profitability.
• Drives program management to maximize project synergies and ensure delivery of holistic and high impact business solutions across multiple workstreams.
• Serves as a subject matter expert to cross-functional teams to lead progress of select initiatives and recommends corrective action when necessary.
• Develops and supports pilot process to bring new solutions to market, test concepts, learn from the pilot, and adjust the solution as needed.
• Communicates effectively to a broad audience across the enterprise, adjusting content and detail as appropriate.

 

What we’re looking for

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or 4+ years if equivalent work experience (Minimum Required)
• 5 – 7+ Years experience in Business Analysis and/or Business Consulting in Financial Services. (Required) Insurance experience highly preferred
• 1-3+ Years experience in Technology or start-ups (Preferred)
• Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations.
• Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches. 
• Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

What’s in it for YOU:

 

Pay Range: $90,300 - $124,700 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
