Job description

Dog Boarding At The Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC is looking for one kennel assistants i-iii to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 401 Tyner St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Kennel attendants are responsible for the cleaning, feeding, and general care of the dogs staying at our facility. Experience is not required, training will be provided. You will also be cross trained as a daycare attendant ensuring a safe environment for all dogs in attendance as well as canine enrichment activities. Love of animals is a must. You must be comfortable with all breeds of dog.

• Must be over 18
• Valid SC License

Kennel Assistant:

No experience required we will train the right candidates Part Time $9.5/hr Full Time $10/hr

Kennel Assistant II:

Minimum 3 months experience

Bathing experience

Basic Dog Handling

Part Time $10/hr Full Time $11/hr

Kennel Assistant III:

Minimum 6 months experience

Bathing Experience

Basic Dog Handling

Training courses preferred

Must be over 18

Part Time: $10.5/hr Full Time $11.5/hr

Shift Leader in Training:

Minimum 1 year experience

Experience: bathing, teeth, nails and ears

Experience feeding and administering medication

Training courses on behavior/signs of aggression/signs of stress

Dog Handling Experience

Must be over 18

Full Time Only: $12/hr

Promotions, raises and bonuses based on demonstrating proficiency in assigned tasks.
