Job description
SmartTalent is seeking to hire a Sub Assembly Mechanic for a leading designer and innovator in the packaging machine industry in Everett, WA. This is a temp to hire opportunity providing full time hours. Previous experience working as a Mechanic or Assembly mechanic is required.
PAY: $21-$23
LOCATION: Everett, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Building packaging machine sub- assemblies
· Checking parts for proper manufacturing Installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines according to diagrams and written
· Mounting auxiliary equipment to the machine correctly positioning parts and drill, tapping and reaming holes at designated points
· Aligning and connecting parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools.
· Strong customer service skills, a team-player attitude & regular and acceptable attendance are required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1 year of Auto Mechanic or Industrial/Mechanical experience is required.
· A basic understanding of mathematics principles.
· The ability to stand much of the working day. The ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
· The ability to multitask.
· The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required.
