Location: Wadley Regional Medical Center Posted Date: 2/14/2024 Job Type: Per Diem Department: 4116.54100 Pharmacy Essential Functions: 1 Utilizes knowledge and skills in procuring and processing drug orders under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. 2 Locates, identifies and retrieves appropriate medications. 3 Pulls appropriate dosages according to medical orders. 4 Transports/distributes medications as directed. 5 Enters data accurately in computer system. Secondary Functions: 1 All other duties required by the Director Qualifications: Education/Skills: High school graduate or GED. Licensure: Current or eligible for State Pharmacy Technician certification and National Pharmacy technician certification; current or eligible for other certifications required by the state. Experience: Previous experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred; ACPE or ASHP accredited course in compounding sterile preparations preferred.
