Nature of Work: Performs administrative, professional, and supervisory work in the Facilities Management field. Responsibilities include supervising, overseeing, analyzing, directing, and planning facilities activities of the operation and maintenance sections within the division. This position also supports the development and administration of a facilities master plan for all city facilities. An employee assigned to this position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure operations and maintenance efforts are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Work is performed under the general direction of the Facilities Management Division Manager and is reviewed to determine if projects stay within designed parameters.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or Facilities Management required with three (3) years construction or facilities management experience required ; or an equivalent combination of education, training, licenses, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required . Certified Facility Management (CFM) designation preferred. Positions in the Facilities Division must pass a background investigation. VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PROVIDED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PROVIDED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
