If so, this role is perfect for you! The Center for NeuroPotential boasts an evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy and neurofeedback approach. This full-time job requires overseeing a caseload and providing neurofeedback services. This includes primarily in person sessions and some telehealth opportunities. The Center has established a respected status, making it a preferred destination for healthcare providers and mental health professionals across the United States.
Our patients have the motivation to heal; they are carefully assessed on the phone to make sure both parties are compatible. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling with a primary focus on addressing trauma-related issues
- Monitor and track the progress of patients undergoing neurofeedback treatment
- Conduct intake and assessment of individuals seeking neurofeedback therapy
- Conduct therapy sessions for individuals dealing with PTSD, depression, and anxiety
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation is maintained
- Engage in clinical consultation, participate in Neurofeedback clinical rounds, and attend educational training sessions
- Enhance knowledge and skills in combining neurofeedback with EMDR and other therapeutic approaches
- Demonstrate punctuality, consistency, and organizational skills in job performance
Qualifications:
- Must possess an Associate-level license in psychotherapy in the state of Connecticut, such as LMSW or LPCA
- Required to have training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies, or agree to receive training
- Must adhere to ethical standards in the field
- Must possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Should be familiar with utilizing an Electronic Health Record, and be capable of documenting quickly
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative team
- Open to developing and expanding their clinical practice
- Must demonstrate the ability to accommodate changing clinical requirements
