Eastridge Workforce Solutions is urgently hiring a Material Handler for our client in Newtown, CT. As a Material Handler, you’ll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You’ll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems. The schedule for this position are 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Role and responsibilities:

• Clean and package material per specification for safe shipment.
• Monitor for and report damaged / defective materials (or questionable) to department Supervisor.
• Participate in area Job Hazard Analysis.
• Required to make pick up and deliveries within the ASML campus.
• Data entry and record retention.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Adhere to all safety regulations and make recommendations.
• Required to operate company equipment such as hand truck, hoists, trolley’s, fork truck

Education and experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• General computer proficiencies with Microsoft Office especially with Excel and Word.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Material Handling or Shipping or packaging experience a plus
