Pay: $25.00 - $32.00

Hours:

1st shift hours: 7-3:30pm M-F

OT is mostly required

Weekends are optional

2 paid 15 minute breaks, non-paid lunch break.

Description:

Company is a full service, Iowa based, truck leasing company offering truck and trailer rental and leasing, contract maintenance and logistics services including dedicated contract carriage from nearly twenty convenient locations throughout Iowa and the adjoining states.

Brown is looking for 2 quality diesel/service technicians to join their 1st shift team in their Davenport, Iowa location.

Mechanical, Repair, Service, Hand tool, Preventive maintenance, Installation, Assembly, Hydraulics, Production, Install, General labor

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles they have serviced.
• Fixing gaskets and different parts of trucks/trailers.
• Performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components.
• Maintaining a parts inventory
• Candidate must have their own tools
