Triad Kids Dental is looking for CRNA's to join our growing dental practice in the Triad area. Greensboro/Winston Salem area!
Consistent with North Carolina licensure. Dentist Anesthesiologist supervised practice. The purpose of this position is to provide office based anesthesia to meet the patient care needs of our dental offices in NC. The CRNA is responsible for providing supervised patient care, including anesthesiology pre-op, intra-op, and post-op services.
This CRNA position will provide office-based anesthesia services to pediatric patients at Triad Kids Dental (Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Wilmington locations). This person is responsible for providing supervised patient care, including anesthesiology pre-op, intra-op, and post-op services under the supervision of a licensed dentist anesthesiologist with 24 years pediatric office-based experience.
Some travel may be required to Wilmington. - Conducting pre-anesthesia evaluations including but not limited to: assessing patient's medical history requesting necessary consults, and developing an appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Obtaining informed consents for anesthesia.
- Inducing and maintaining sedation and general anesthesia utilizing appropriate inhalation and intravenous anesthetic drugs and controlled substances.
- Selecting/inserting noninvasive monitoring modalities.
- Performing point-of-care testing
- Responding to emergency situations using airway management and other techniques.
- Facilitating emergence and recovery from anesthesia
- Maintaining an appropriate anesthesia record
- Knowledge of the continuum of care provided in the dental care department
- Ability to work well with all types of individuals including patients, family, staff, and anesthesiologists and dentists.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree or higher from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)
- Valid North Carolina RN License
- Valid North Carolina CRNA License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
National Certification Examination required by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Compensation will be based on experience and prefer at least one year pediatric experience.
