Position Summary

Provides training and consulting services to GBS Clients for the NextGen platform, GBS vertical products, and associated applications to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Delivers expert knowledge, service, training and assistance on GBS product offerings, value-add offerings, and reports generation utilities to GBS Clients in an efficient and responsive manner.
• Provides on-site classroom training and consulting services to GBS Clients and personnel at various locations
• Provides remote service, training and consulting assistance through VPN access and virtual meetings.
• Maintains accurate, timely and thorough Client documentation.
• Develops and maintains a professional relationship with Clients, including participation in client reviews, studies, findings, and meetings.
• Maintains a consistent and dedicated effort to learning updates and enhancements of products and associated applications.
• Meets with management as needed to inform them of account status, ongoing issues, opportunities, and potential issues which may cause a negative impact to GBS and its Clients.
• Creates documentation for Clients on their specific user training and publish documentation for internal use.
• Assists as Client Service Specialist as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously as well as daily and overnight travel.

• Excellent communication skills to communicate in a professional manner when dealing with customers, partners, and company contacts.
• Ability to interact with technical users and non-technical end users in person.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple and simultaneous projects and meet agreed-upon deadlines.

• Ability to travel as required

• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, database utilities, backup utilities, design utilities and other third-party GBS product offerings.
• Travel availability (as required). 50%-75% travel to GBS, client or prospect sites is required and may require air/overnight travel.

Education and Experience:

• NextGen Certified Professional or obtain certification at completion of initial training
• Business and/or computer degree or 2-5 years equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Hospital and/or Clinical settings preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
