Job description

Duties:

- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards

- Ensure food handling and sanitation procedures are followed

- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food production techniques

- Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new menu items and specials

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

- Assist with shift management and ensure smooth operations during service

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role

- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team

- Proficient in food production techniques and kitchen management

- Knowledge of inventory control and ordering procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
