Job description
DentalEZ in Hillsboro is hiring a Full Time Shipping Clerk. We are located right on the MAX line in Hillsboro. We offer a generous benefits package including PTO, Medical, Voluntary Vision, Voluntary Dental, Company Paid Life and Short Term Disability and a generous 401(k) match!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all orders are packaged and palletized securely and include all items for accurate order fulfillment.
- Work closely with scheduling, production, and customer service to ensure the team is on track to ship all orders complete and on time.
- Determine method of shipment that complies with established policies and procedures and customer specifications.
- Assist the team in pulling correct finished goods to meeting daily shipping goals if necessary.
- Escalate issues and obstacles including Safety concerns to the Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Freight Company for shipments too large for parcel pickup.
- Affix shipping labels on packed cartons.
- Assemble and/or select reassembled containers.
- Stamp, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer requirements.
- Clear understanding of DENTALEZ processes and procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
- Ability to comprehend work instructions both verbally and in writing.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Oracle experience a plus.
- Minimum two years shipping experience.
- Previous experience working with large freight carriers.
- Previous experience operating forklift and scissor lift.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Oracle experience helpful.
Physical Demands:
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
- Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.
- Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time.
- Handle or manage tools or equipment.
- Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
- Abilty to lift 50+ pounds.
