Job description

Title:  Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Reports to:  Nurse Manager
Department:  Valverde Residential
Location:  Reseda, CA 91335
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $32 - $35 per hour DOE
Schedule:   10-12 hour Shifts (days, swing or overnight)
Supervisory Responsibility:  NONE

Position Summary Other Duties Qualifications

Education/Licenses/Certifications :
Registered in California as a License Vocational Nurse.

Experience:
Two years working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a l ong-term care facility.  


Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

Requirements Work Environment
ICF/DDN residential facility for adults with varying degrees of developmental and physical disabilities. Employee may encounter residents who are in crisis, exhibiting emotional/psychological distress or behaving in an aggressive manner. Environment may include frequent interruptions, loud noise, varying indoor temperature, and drafts. Exposure to varying weather conditions when driving to meetings, appointments, etc. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
