Our CL Operations team is seeking a Broker Analyst to join our growing team. This is a full time, exempt role. This is a hybrid or remote opportunity.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Broker Analyst will report to the Business Operations Director, acting as a liaison with Core/Specialty Field leadership and key large Retail Agency and Wholesale Specialty relationships. Responsible for overlaying and administering best practices relative to contracts and production systems to drive efficiencies and alignment across agency/broker performance. The Broker Analyst consults with agencies/brokers and internal stakeholders to identify discrepancies, analyze trends and reconcile results through agreed upon best practices and solutions.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Analyze and oversee Agency/Broker internal/external changes across large relationships including leading the development and refinement of evolving best practice requirements, plans and schedules and calibration exercises to enact changes with business partners in support of mergers/acquisitions, location redundancies, reporting hierarchies, and consolidated user access strategies
- Analyze data to identify trends/variances in order to drive business development strategies, present trade offs and support informed decisions
- Provides technical expertise across business functions, understands the relationship between the business and the data and technology that support best practices and the business objective
- Responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of agency/broker data against business and/or technical requirements, working across multiple systems, external data sources and other business areas
- Provide consultative support to agencies/brokers and business partners amidst complex and varied scenarios regarding premium/production allocation, reporting, and user access
- Collaborates with all relevant parties by demonstrating knowledge of the business technical systems and providing timely/accurate information
- Proactive assessment to identify problems or trends; recommend solutions
- Secondary Functions
- Understands the importance of developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with others at varying levels of the organization; builds positive relationships with others to accomplish mutual goals
- Provides project support to department and other business functions
- Identifies, evaluates, and assists in implementing process improvements utilizing automation and emerging technology as appropriate
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY: - 3-5 years related experience and Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong critical thinking
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other reporting software
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
