Job description

UPMC Altoona is hiring an Executive Chef to support the Nutrition Services team! This is a full-time opportunity with a rotating day shift schedule. This position will be responsible for overseeing the cooks for all three meals. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field, have a minimum of 5,000 hours of Food Production Operations, and obtain catering experience.

Purpose:
The Executive chef provides overall management and direction to the food production and food storage operations. The Executive Chef provides leadership and managerial support in planning, organizing, staffing, and controlling day-to-day operational functions related to food production.
