JOB DESCRIPTION
Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Skill Level(s): Senior

The Candidate will provide O&M, system engineering and continued application development for a suite of custom web based data analytic tools. The Candidate, with Organization oversight, will engage with the users of the applications to provide enhancements and generate ideas for new tools that can be added to the application suite.

The Candidate will develop an accredited data storage, processing, and application platform that helps solve the Organization’s most challenging data problems. The Candidate will ensure that all development and modifications to existing Organization applications comply with Organization’s security and architectural policies and regulations.

The Candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, to include other Candidate teams. The Candidate will be required to work with Organization staff and Candidate personnel, as well as external stakeholders.

The Candidate team will have experience working in fast-paced environments to support mission needs to support Organization activities and decision making.

The Candidate shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

• generating ideas for revolutionary technologies supporting operations in the hard target mission space.
• entrepreneurial leadership in developing, pitching, selling, and deploying new technologies to solve operational problems.
• Python development with expertise in Python data analytics packages such as pandas, numpy, scipy, gensim, and scikit-learn.
• database technologies, including Elasticsearch and SQL databases.
• data pipelines and workflow technologies, such as Apache NiFi
• task tracking and version control technology, such as GitHub and JIRA.
• AI/ML technologies and packages, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• ML model development on text data, including NLP, and structured datasets.
• data visualization technologies and packages, such as Kibana, Bokeh, Leaflet/Folium, and Tableau.
• developing in a cloud environment, such as Amazon Web Services. 
• building application web based front ends.
• handling restricted data sets, both at the individual and system level.
• managing data to include transfer, ingestion, ETL, management, retention, and deletion while maintaining provenance and handling and dissemination restrictions.
• working with data spread across multiple enclaves.
• The Organization’s A&A process; security regulations, policy and guidance.
• documenting and editing the results of technical analysis for publication to non-technical audiences.
• solving tough problems by developing repeatable methodologies.
• building and maintaining web based applications.
• developing Flask apps.

Highly Desired Skills
Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include:

• Experience managing a Confluence site.
• Russian language ability.
• Working the Organization’s Russia mission.
• Working the Organization’s operational mission.
