Position Summary:

Rutgers University- Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking a Program Coordinator II. Reporting directly to the Assistant Dean for Academic Programs and Services of the Graduate School-Newark (GS-N).

This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:

• Provides support in all areas of student academic services as they pertain to certification of degrees, student academic forms, letters, checklists, review of transcripts, and other requirements
• Academic support services will also include the interaction with Registrar, students, academic programs and faculty or other entity for inquiries and requests as needed
• This position will also be involved in the assistance of recruitment efforts and assistance with various event planning initiatives, such as hooding ceremony, commencement, outreach to City of Newark constituents, and other special projects as needed

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience and a minimum of two years experience in program coordination activities
