Start your Jacobs career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow.

Your Impact:

Solving the world’s most complex water challenges demands different thinking – and that’s where we come in. At Jacobs, we are driven by our passion for making the world a better place by providing our clients with sustainable and meaningful solutions.

We are looking for the best and brightest talent to join our Colorado Water Resources team. An ideal candidate will be someone who can use their experience in water resources and apply it to today’s challenges, while reinventing tomorrow.  Our water resources team serves the top water resources and stormwater clients in the Denver metropolitan area and along the Colorado Front Range. Our team supports clients like the Mile High Flood District, Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority, City of Aurora, City and County of Denver, City of Fort Collins, City of Boulder, and more, in addition to supporting our internal transportation and conveyance practices with hydrologic and hydraulic solutions.

As a valued Jacobs employee, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams and have the opportunity to work on projects related to stream restoration, dams, ecosystem and habitat restoration, floodplains, hydrology and hydraulics, and more. Our projects cover the full lifecycle of a project, from inception to construction, including alternatives evaluations, sustainability analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, cost analysis, preliminary and final design, permitting, and construction engineering services. Every member of our team supports business development efforts and helps in the pursuit of new projects, as well as working directly with clients on the projects and tasks that they are leading, and you will build long-term client relationships. At Jacobs you can design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed.

If you want to become an expert in your engineering discipline, look no further. Opportunities abound to learn from our senior project managers and technologists, who are experts in the industry, with the intent that one day you will assist with team building and mentoring of younger engineers as you grow in your own career.

Jacobs health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Your health. Your well-being. Your security. Your future. Eligible employees and their dependents may elect medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, and if eligible, a deferred compensation plan, and Executive Deferral Plan. We have an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for eligible full-time exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, and caregiver leave. Hired applicants will be able to purchase discounted company stock and have the opportunity to receive a performance discretionary bonus.
