Maryland Treatment Centers (MTC) has been providing comprehensive substance abuse treatment for over 30 years. With locations throughout Maryland, MTC provides a variety of levels of care to clients who struggle with chemical dependency as well as co-occurring disorders. Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc has an open position for a Nurse Manager at the Frederick location. The facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Medical record keeping
General nursing care to patients.
Demonstrates the ability to effectively assess and document the needs of patients
Demonstrates appropriate and effective verbal communication with patients
Responds effectively and appropriately in crisis.
Overseeing staffing and their duties
Requirements:
Good organizational and documentation skills
Nurses must be licensed through the state of Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule- Weekends required
Mental Health Experience Required
Experience with substance abuse patients Required
