As the Sales Academy Manager of the Small to Medium Business (SMB) team, you will be an integral part of our and your own success. You will oversee a team Account Executives consulting with clients and selling Insight’s products and services within a given sales market. You will provide your team guidance and show them best practices to help them be a winning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage. You are responsible for a team of professional and you will provide the direction, coordination and evaluation within the service provider business segment. Focus on implementing objectives organization's policies and values. You’ll find some of best talent to hire and then train them. You will be rewarding great performance and recognizing great work.
- Grow. Contribute to the continued growth of Insight by consistently achieving sales goals, finding creative ways to grow market share and execute strategic forecasting and budget associated with sales activities. Analyze your achievements and constantly be eager to identify prospective clients.
- Communicate. Keep open communication channels with top clients, sales management and your team of Account Executives regarding sales leads, market challenges and competitive activity. The best part is you will build lasting relationships with clients, vendors and key partners.
- Coach. Provide hands-on coaching, counseling and training to your team. Partner up with the inside and outside sales reps to actively pursue new business, follow up and help close deals.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years in the computer industry calling on accounts.
- 2+ years in sales management, and previous experience hiring, motivating and managing employees.
- A proven track record of success in B2B sales with experience managing major accounts with a proven track record in leadership required.
