What You Will Do
As the Director, Data Mgmt, Reporting & Survey Ops you will serve as a key member of the People Insights leadership team and will play a meaningful role in driving direction and strategy for all things related to data management, operations, and reporting! We are looking for a strategic operator who will combine sophisticated analytical thinking, collaborative business acumen, and excellent leadership capabilities to deliver information and insights that enable effective organization and talent decisions.
- You will lead a multi-functional team including data management and governance, data reporting solutions, visualization, and survey operations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships, based on trust, with HR leaders and key business leaders
- Foster an eco-system for TWDC people data and educate users on critical background info (e.g., definitions) required when reporting on data
- Partner with stakeholders in HR and Finance to ensure all data and related processes represent and maintain a “single source of truth”
- Manage the full employee experience surveys process for TWDC. Work in close partnership to deliver reports that land for the business.
- Leverage knowledge of data infrastructure and data engineering to partner heavily with Enterprise IT on the data strategy
- Drive a team culture that prioritizes the accuracy, timeliness, and relevancy of our data, trends, reports, and insights and ensures effective delivery of core data and reporting
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement processes to ensure we are meeting the highest standards of excellence

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of databases, analytical tools, and big data
- Ability to lead multiple, large data/analytics projects in a fast-paced matrix with experience in evaluating program efficiency and impact
- Experience leading employee survey programs with a focus on assessing employee experience, finding opportunities, and driving action
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate
- Experience with international data regulations and privacy requirements
- Outstanding consultative, critical thinking, and communication skills
- HR leadership experience in a global organization, with emphasis on building HR analytics programs and plans to support employee experience, talent strategy, and business performance
- Familiarity with HR and data systems (Workday, Cognos) and visualization tools (Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in The Walt Disney Company successfully driving complex projects and decision-making across businesses and functions
Education
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $188,900 to $241,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
