Job description

JCC Greater Boston is seeking talented and experienced individuals to join our team as Family Engagement Program Designer & Lead for Pomi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and leading innovative programs and events for our new mobile vehicle, Pomi. Pomi serves families with young children in Greater Boston by providing engaging experiences and opportunities for connection. The Program Designer and Lead develops, designs, and leads unique curriculum and programs for Pomi.

These programs and workshops offer enriching, supportive, and memorable experiences for kids and families at Pomi programs. Primary areas of responsibility include but are not limited to designing program curriculum and activities from start to finish, partnering with Pomi Director of Programming to secure program site/location/date(s), leading each program event, and directing program set-up, implementation, and clean-up.

The starting salary for this position is $27.46 - $33.35 per hour. The scope of the position will ultimately determine the salary offered, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity. This is a part-time position, and hours will vary between 5-10 hours per week.

Skills & Abilities:

Physical Requirements:

Must have a valid Mass Drivers license and access to a vehicle to attend events across Greater Boston. Able to work well in a busy, dynamic, and sometimes noisy environment involving multiple tasks and priorities. Able to lift and carry objects weighing 30-40 pounds (boxes of supplies, moving tables, and chairs, etc. Able to sit and kneel; getting down at eye level with children regularly.
