Requisition ID: 2024-7530# of Openings: 1 Job LocationsThe Alumni Officer for Alumni Career & Professional Development (Career Services Specialist SR) is a new position and is critical to a successful and dynamic alumni engagement team. The officer is highly collaborative and works closely with the entire University Advancement staff in elevating Utah State University through philanthropy and engagement.
The Alumni Engagement team supports the USU Alumni Association's mission to "provide opportunities for meaningful lifelong involvement" for more than 220,000 members of the Aggie Family. As part of the Alumni Engagement team, the Alumni Officer will develop the strategy and delivery of career and professional development for USU alumni. This includes creating a strategic engagement plan to promote lifelong learning and post-graduate educational opportunities to alumni at diverse career stages, helping them develop and enhance their career trajectory, and deepen their lifelong relationships with USU.
The position requires extensive public contact with alumni, donors, students, and volunteers. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial mentality in creating premier networking and engagement opportunities for alumni. Possessing the ability to make data-informed decisions is imperative to the continued success of the team. Availability and willingness to travel, as well as work some nights and weekends, is required. The Alumni Officer reports to the Associate Vice President of Alumni Engagement in the division of University Advancement
