Position Summary:
Responsible for providing medical services appropriate to his or her training, experience, skills, protocols and credentialing under the supervision of a registered physician within the Urgent Care service line. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Graduate of accredited AMA recognized PA training program.
Current physician’s assistant license in the State of Florida.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in acute care facility outpatient practice
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Demonstrated competent computer skills.
