Job description

The ideal Technology Support Associate will display intellectual curiosity, independent initiative, and a willingness to take on new challenges. An undergraduate degree is preferred; however, experienced candidates with a solid technical background will be considered. A desire to work in an educational setting is essential. The Technology Support Associate will report to the Director of Technology, Innovation and Design, and be a member of a four person technology department.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Assisting all members of the community with technology needs. 
• Servicing Apple products (MacBooks, iPads, AppleTVs, etc).
• Troubleshooting and installing classroom and office technologies.
• Setting up and managing A/V for school assemblies/events.
• Troubleshooting and administering Mobile Device Management databases (JAMF).
• Administering the technology support ticketing system.
• Working with the technology team to test and troubleshoot new system rollouts.
• Technology Support for occasional signature events will require evening/flex hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Passion for technology with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to support the collaborative work of the technology team.
• Strong written and verbal correspondence skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite and web-based software and applications.
• Proficient in Mac ecosystem and basic network and A/V troubleshooting.
