HR - PAYROLL - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

PAYROLL/HR ROLE: - Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process of applicants, including job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs - union and non-union hires.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage employee relation issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ROLE: - Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer including managing CEO's calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. Oversee and manage specific projects and initiatives as the CEO directs.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, and Account Managers for smooth communication and workflow.
- Attend select meetings from all Departments.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls. Prepare, create, draft, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations.
- Can-do, positive attitude. Ability to work well under pressure, respond flexibly and resourcefully to workload fluctuations; demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible for our Corporate clothing website and ordering business cards for employees.
- Organizing and overseeing Corporate Events and offsite meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and labor laws.
- Experience with Computer Ease, Deltek, and payroll software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- High attention to detail and outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written. Excellent command of the English language is a must.

Pay: $65,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience.
