Cloud Engineers are pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud architecture supports our strategic goals effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Work with AWS, Azure or other cloud providers to optimize cloud services.
- Implement automation tools for efficient cloud operations and management.
- Monitor cloud environments, analyzing and optimizing performance based on project requirements.
- Ensure cloud security practices are followed, including managing access controls and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into software applications.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may compensate for the degree at different levels.
- Proven experience in cloud engineering, with roles available from entry-level (1-3 years) to senior-level (5+ years).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with cloud automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
