Full time Chief of Specialty Veterinarian - Exceptional Opportunity, Excellent Compensation, Sign-On Bonus - Springfield, OR

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DVM to join our team as the Chief of Specialty Veterinarian. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, as well as experience in a leadership role. The Chief of Specialty Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the specialty department, as well as developing and implementing new programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Chief of Specialty Veterinarian include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the specialty department
• Developing and implementing new programs and initiatives
• Managing the budget for the specialty department
• Recruiting and hiring new staff
• Providing clinical care to patients
• Educating clients about pet health
• Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team

Qualifications for the Chief of Specialty Veterinarian include:

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
• At least 5 years of experience in a clinical veterinary setting
• Experience in a leadership role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
