Business Intelligence Developer
General Description
TVG-Medulla, LLC company, is a high-growth organization that powers two high-quality chiropractic care organizations, Chiro One Wellness Centers and MyoCore Personalized Pain Care clinics. With over 80 clinics across the nation, our clinic care teams provide non-invasive, drug-free chiropractic care to thousands of patients each month.
Medulla is looking for an advanced analytics analyst to drive patient acquisition via providing sales and marketing analytics. We have several exciting initiatives planned around business and clinic optimization, digital marketing expansion, and continued growth in emerging markets.
In this critical role on the IT team, you will have a direct impact on shaping our organization’s strategy. This role will have the unique opportunity to predict the news, versus simply reporting on the news! You will be responsible for using a combination of business intuition and advanced analytic techniques including statistics and optimization to develop models, products and technologies that create value across our organization. You will deliver dashboard, scorecards, models, and insights to our leadership team to drive key decisions that enable continued growth and optimization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop and automate analytics solutions to answer key business questions, provide self-service analytics, and enable faster data-decision making.
- Design analytics, dashboards, reports, and data sets that allow actionable recommendations to be discerned from critical KPI’s.
- Responsible for defining a comprehensive measurement framework and roadmap for analytics.
- Create dashboards to consistently monitor key performance metrics, allowing the team to identify trends and adjust as needed to optimize performance to goals.
- Ad-hoc analyses and trend examination; Conduct exploratory/deep dive analysis into business questions.
- Provide analysis in digestible formats and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Provide insight and experience in recommending appropriate data models.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Math, Quantitative or Statistics
- 2+ years of Data Analytics & Query Design; proficient in SQL
- 1+ years of hands-on experience developing optimized SQL queries across large volumes of data in both relational and multi-dimensional data.
- 1+ years of experience using leading Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Python
- Deep understanding of underlying data requirements and necessary architecture to support dashboard solutions.
- Knowledge of best practices in data visualization, and the most appropriate visualization to “tell the story.”
- Able to share a portfolio of data visualizations created & the ability to speak to the goal of the dashboard and what insights were provided.
- Working knowledge of database architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to provide architectural recommendations around data structures, sourcing, performance, scalability, and security.
- Experience with cloud tools to assist with data cleansing & data integration a plus.
- Python and advanced Excel skills
- Hands on experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce a plus.
