Job description
We are currently seeking a highly experienced tile installer to join our team as a lead installer. In addition, we are also looking for two helpers to assist with various tasks on job sites.
Responsibilities for the lead installer include:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of tile installation projects
- Ensuring high quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Training and supervising helpers on job sites
- Communicating with clients and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications for the lead installer position include:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tile installation
- Extensive knowledge of different types of tile and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities for the helper positions include:
- Assisting with prepping surfaces for tile installation
- Mixing and applying mortar and grout
- Cutting and shaping tiles to fit specific spaces
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
- Following lead installer's instructions and completing tasks in a timely manner
Qualifications for the helper positions include:
- Previous experience working in construction or a related field
- Willingness to learn and take direction from lead installer
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods of time
