The Position is responsible for driving planning and procurement activities for the Honeywell Coatings business. This role will be responsible for all materials management and planning functions to include working with operations to create and execute the production schedule, material and demand planning, inventory control and on time delivery. This role is also responsible for the procurement functions including establishing procurement processes and supplier agreements to support the business and coordinating with buyers to support purchasing activities. This role will be responsible for tracking and reporting supplier and materials delivery performance and establishing and driving correcting actions as needed.


Key Responsibilities
Forecast material demand and enter/maintain in SAP.
Coordinate with Operations leadership to create and execute the production schedule.
Release work orders to Operations in coordination with the production schedule.
Track and optimize inventory.
Understand and communicate work center capacity constraints.
Provide data and analysis.
Drive for On Time Delivery improvement.
Ensure that procurement processes and activities are aligned to support the execution of the business.
Be accountable for reporting and escalating of material shortages and purchasing issues to Honeywell leadership. Act as point of contact for escalations from buyers, other cross-functional team members and suppliers.
Ensure cooperation within teams and suppliers to minimize risks of delivery gaps and take assertive position with suppliers who are past due to ensure that every alternative is explored to improve past due delivery schedules. Develop and drive alternative solutions to close the delivery gap.
Actively participate to the SIOP review meetings.


Preferred Requirements
Experience in planning and/or procurement
Experience with MRP/ERP system (SAP or similar)
Experience with Microsoft suite
