Job description
The Store Manager is responsible for business operations and store performance (safety, efficiencies, and profit/loss accountability). He/She promotes customer satisfaction and retention, as well as growth of existing and new business. In addition, the Store Manager 'owns' overall operations in terms of cost control, inventory management, environmental compliance, and most importantly, safety. The Store Manager provides strong and consistent leadership in order to cultivate and maintain a harmonious, collaborative, and highly productive work culture .
Franchise leadership is looking for a seasoned manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who will assume responsibility for operations, financial performance, morale, and growth initiatives. The ideal Store Manager candidate has a post high school degree or coursework, three years experience in the automotive repair business, supervisory/management/mentor-ship experience, a continuous improvement background, P&L experience, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
COMPENSATION
* $18.00-$35.00 Per Hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, hire, train, motivate, review, schedule, coach and fire employees
- Grow the business to achieve targeted profitable revenues
- Manage overall operations to minimize loss through continuous improvement and efficiency gains
- Ensure environmental compliance
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and operated in accordance with safety regulations
- Maintain a 'white glove' facility
- Establish marketing initiatives according to corporate and local promotions
- Oversee inventory control
- Promote customer service and satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED (advanced education desired)
- Three years experience in an automotive repair environment/business
- Supervisory/Managerial/Mentor-ship skills and experience
- P&L experience
- Point-of-sale and electronic payment media skills desired
- Strong computer and Internet skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Exceptional listener and communicator (written and verbal)
- Highly collaborative nature
- Willing to accept full accountability for operational and financial performance
