KiDS Ministry Director [Part-Time]

Open position for Par-time KiDS ministry director at First Baptist Church of Imperial Lakes in Lakeland, FL.

This position would require an individual to lead our pre-school and KiDS ministries on Sunday and Wednesdays year-round.

The KiDS ministry director would be responsible for overseeing nursery & leading our PK-5th grade age KiDS programs. Our current KiDS programs include: Sunday KiDS, SPARK KiDS, Nursery, VBS, & a KiDS Summer program. The director would be responsible for operating a safe and inviting KiDS program along with scheduling and recruiting volunteers to ensure the program operates effectively and purposefully at all times.

The KiDS ministry director must be a born-again believer and align with our statement of faith and by-laws.

Requirements of the position include [but are not limited to]:

• Good relational skills with both children and adults.
• High energy, zealous, and creative.
• Technologically advanced to be able to operate scheduling software, computer programs, video and sound devices, etc.
• Must be able to delegate tasks, be self-motivated, be detail-oriented and most importantly love Jesus and be able to express the love of Jesus to all.

This part time position will consist of [but not limited to] 25hrs/ week. The hours per week will vary depending on the church events planned and extracurricular activities scheduled.

Compensation for the position is $30,000/yr.
