Job description

Seneca Foods is one of the most highly integrated fruit and vegetable processing companies in the US. We manage many—and in some cases all—aspects of production. At Seneca, we produce seeds, harvest crops, manufacture our own containers and provide a wide range of nutritious fruit and vegetable products. Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production, and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking an Accounting /Admin Clerk to join its team for the 2024 summer production season. This seasonal position is geared toward current High school or recent undergraduate students and will provide hands-on industry experience working with the Accounting Department during the busy production season. This position typically runs from late May through August but is flexible with school schedules. Responsibilities:

• Entering data
• Compiling daily production reports
• Carrying out clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and making copies
• Verifying usage transactions
• Assisting with Payroll paperwork and time records as needed
• Following established procedures, policies, and rules
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Knowledge in Accounting, Business, or other related fields preferred
