Reporting directly up to the Director of Pharmacy, the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager will oversee pharmacy personnel while also hiring, training, and motivating new employees that join the team. It is important that the Manager has previous experience in a similar position in order to be successful in this role. Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school as well as 4+ years of Pharmacy experience within a hospital setting. The Hospital Pharmacy Manager will also achieve business objectives by directing operations to best serve patient units, monitoring department performance metrics, and partnering with management in developing and implementing Pharmacy programs to help meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume. 

In addition to their Inpatient Pharmacy duties, the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager will manage all operations of the small hospital Pharmacy. The Manager is responsible for appropriate distribution of medications for both Inpatient and Outpatient, including sterile compounding, bar code scanning, and automated dispensing devices.
