Kelly Services in partnership with Cummins has immediate openings for experienced Welders to join our team at Cummins CES in Columbus, IN. Cummins is a global premier Fortune 500 company that is among the largest in the world making Diesel engines and components. Several opportunities are available on multiple shifts!

Shifts and Pay Rates: - Day - 5:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Thursday ($19.00 / hr)
- Night - 5:00pm to 5:00am, Wednesday – Saturday ($19.75 / hr)
- Rotating – 5:00pm to 5:00am, Monday – Tuesday & 5:00am to 5:00pm, Friday - Saturday ($20.00 / hr)
- Will be required to work some overtime as needed
- May possibly be asked to train on day shift
This job might be an outstanding fit if: - One year preferred, but at least 6 months of TIG welding experience required
- Able to communicate effectively and accurately with all levels of management and co-workers in spoken and written language.
- Demonstrate the ability to master multiple workstations by operating safely, passing quality parts, and productively
- Strong ability to organize while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability
What’s a typical day as a Welder? You'll be: - Ensure that the production areas are supplied with raw materials when required in the right quantity and that the finished goods are transported to the finished goods area, ready for dispatch.
- Responsible for manual TIG repair of rework parts while maintaining required quality and production standards.
- Produce parts by loading and positioning component(s) into fixture(s) using methods/equipment defined in standardized work instructions
- Perform detailed dimensional inspection using final gauge, bend gauge, handheld gauges, and other instruments when necessary to determine quality of product
