Job description
We are seeking an innovative Solutions Architects to craft compelling and compliant cloud-based solutions for the company's new and existing clients. Working with the company's CTO, successful candidates will support the company's growth strategy, application modernization endeavors, while enhancing our cloud capabilities. The position enables the team to meet near-term new business goals through a combination of competitive and non-competitive pursuits. It also contributes toward the company's long-term strategy to organically acquire and retain customers and talent while expanding and deepening our portfolio of offerings to win new customers
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Develop compelling solutions as part of approved captures (proposition, plans, people, products, past performance, pricing)
- Lead competitive technical proposal solutions
- Support organic technical proposal solutions
- Generate thought leadership around application modernization and Cloud working with marketing, account, and offering teams
- Lead responses to market research activities
- Influence customers, employees, and partners
- Support decision-making for lead identification and qualification
- Support captures across the company's accounts
- Manage and strengthen vendor and strategic partnerships
- Foster internal relationships and mentor senior technical staff
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Delivery experience in enterprise-scale software and data platforms for Federal agencies
- Familiarity with multiple technology stacks, including low-code platforms
- Leadership experience in technical proposal generation
- Capture and Sales support experience in the U.S. Federal, State, and Local public sector
- Experience in end-to-end solution development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Expertise in cloud services supporting identity management, microservice and event-driven architectures and databases
- Experience with modern delivery frameworks, such as Agile, DevSecOps, and integrated Human-Centered Design
- Participation in an industry such as ACT-IAC, ATARC, AFCEA or similar
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods
- At least 15 years of relevant experience; two years may be substituted for a master's degree
- At least one professional-level certification in a cloud platform like AWS
- Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes
- Able to lead technical teams developing solutions for pre-Sales and proposals
- Able to manage and meet proposal deadlines for the team
- Able to write and present persuasively
- Able to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders
- Able to react based on new information, peer reviews, and feedback
- Demonstrated ability to keep pace with emerging technologies, application modernization, and digital transformation trends
