Job description
Local Route Driver
Salary $20
Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm
Direct hire
Must have a clean driving record
Must pass a background check and drug test
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations according to assigned routes.
- Load and unload goods onto/from the delivery vehicle using proper lifting and handling techniques.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Verify contents of delivery loads against shipping papers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collect payments from customers, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of transactions as needed.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a route driver or similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes.
