About the Team
As part of the Platform Distribution Operations (PDO), you will focus on the design and implementation of business processes for efficient management and operation of all media distribution including theatrical, linear networks, SVOD/AVOD, transactional, syndication and direct-to-consumer products. Our team is responsible for providing pre-sale and sales support, post-sale execution, and partner management, you will assist the various teams within PDO with day-to-day business needs. You will support multiple initiatives simultaneously that will drive process improvement for content distribution across various lines of business. You will be part of a team environment that is open and inclusive and encourages candor, communication and collaboration!
Your Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with business partners and various technology and operations teams to identify, define and assist with projects and technology roadmaps.
- Compile and analyze large volumes of data in Excel and validate against rights and product information in key systems.
- Coordinate with the Disney+ system teams to ensure product can be viewed on services accurately.
- Support tasks and ad hoc projects related to Technical Negotiations, Systems and Process Management, Data/Advertising integrations, Rights Management and Network Management and participate in user acceptance testing as needed.
- Assist the team in the development of presentations, training materials, and reports.
- Build and establish relationships with counterparts across The Walt Disney Company in sales, operations, production, digital media, legal, accounting, etc. and externally with distributors, business partners, vendors, and technology developers to aid in self-learning, support job functions, and to advance the goals of Platform Distribution.
- Support data integrity initiatives to ensure accurate system records and reporting.
Required Skills
- Excellent inter-personal, organizational, presentation, writing, relationship building, collaboration, negotiation, customer service and digital literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability.
- Some travel and non-traditional work hours may be required depending on business needs.
Education
- This individual should be in pursuit of, or possess, a Bachelor’s Degree.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must be able to work on-site in Burbank and have reliable transportation to/from work
- Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through August 2024. Candidate must be available to work 40 hours/week for the duration of the internship
