Job description
**Job Summary:**
The Warehouse Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and acting as a backup to the Warehouse Manager.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage the workload within the warehouse, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Address and resolve any escalations, maintaining effective communication with the team.
- Coordinate and organize staff schedules, as well as enforce key performance indicators.
- Assist in training new team members and support process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintenance of building security.
- Provide support and backup to the Warehouse Manager as necessary.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse leadership role or a similar environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions and effectively manage time.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
**Physical Requirements:**
- This position involves primarily active work (80%).
- The warehouse environment may be subject to varying temperatures.
